 The Troup County School Board desires open, honest relationships with all components of the community.  The Board and Superintendent will engage in ongoing efforts to effectively communicate with and interact with all components of the community.  The Board works for the community, and in this capacity of service desires to know what the community wants and expects.

In order to ensure effective school-community interaction in the Troup County School System, the Board shall appoint representatives to attend and participate in meetings concerned with the growth and development of young people and meetings concerned with child welfare.

The Board shall encourage parent-teacher meetings designed to secure information and providing for the understanding of issues.

Communications which have as their purpose to share ideas, request information, and enlist cooperation from the community shall be provided to the parents in our school system.
